Source Control

TianoCore has been managed in git, on github, since 2016 (and briefly in a temporary git mirror during the major Sourceforge outage of 2015). Before that, it was managed in subversion on Sourceforge, mirrored to git and cvs.

Certain artefacts of this history can be seen in older commits; the first commit without a git-svn-id: tag is dd9044b310ae2be2ae989a522979feee86b39cc8.

Because, at least at the time of the migration, there wasn't a good mapping from git repo functionality to svn and cvs, we did not set up mirrors to these formats - https://github.com/tianocore is now the only canonical repository.
